Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Vehicle: Raritan PD

A 64-year-old Flemington resident was fatally struck by a vehicle in Raritan Township on the early morning of Friday, Jan. 26, authorities said.

At 5:55 a.m., Raritan Township police along with paramedics responded to Commerce Street and Route 202/31 and found the injured pedestrian, officers said.

The man was attempting to cross Route 202/31 when he was struck by an Acura MDX traveling north. The man was taken to Hunterdon Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.

The Raritan Township Police Department and Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office will be investigating, police said.
